Chongqing Water Turbine Works Co., Ltd is the only company which has the experienced team to be able to carry out after-service and installation for electromechanical equipments of power plant since 1986. We have various testing methods, such as electric test, engineering measurement, non destructive inspection, being able to install medium-small hydropower plant.

CWTW has installed over 40 power plants, such as Guangzhou Tianhu Hydropower Plant, Fujian Huanglanxi Hydropower Plant, Sichuan Batangwa Hydropower Plant, Jilingsheng Dunhuashi Shanggou Hydropower Plant, Chongqing Wuxi Kongliang Hydropower Plant, Yunnan Yingjiangxian Menggahe Hydropower Plant through more than 20 years, providing installation supervision and commissioning service for hydropower plant in USA, Canada and Pakistan, etc.

CWTW will try our best to provide technical counsel and supply spare parts, EPC and installation supervision and power plant reconstruction.

Cast-steel pedestal body of PC beams for span-pedestal type light track,one achievement in scientific research,is studied and developed by Chongqing Water Turbine Works Co.Ltd.(CWTW) according to the need of adjustment for its own structure of production and with the help of Chongqing Light Track Company. The study,development,design and manufacturing of cast-steel pedestal body of PC beam is of first time in China.

CWTW has studied and manufactured the product,which are able to meet domestic construction of light track through its own testing and inspecting/measuring on the basis of fully absorbing Japanese technology. And has started to manufacture it in batch-bulk from October,2001.This Kind of product has honored the title of “KEY NEW-PRODUCTS IN YEAR 2001 IN CHONGQING”of Chongqing Science and Technology Commission on December,2001.

Pedestal bodies are mainly classified according to the beams for track.The fixed pedestal bodies and adjustable pedestal bodies,manufactured by CWTW,are suitable for:Span length is from 9 to 22m; Semidiameter of curve are of infinity(∞),100 m and 500 m separately.

The Kaplan type turbine is mostly suitable for hydropower stations with medium or high head. The Kaplan type turbines manufactured by the CWTW can be divided into fixed blade and rotating blade according to its structure. The fixed blade type is mainly used for small hydropower plant with medium and small capacity, small variation in load. While rotating blade type is mainly used for hydropower plant with medium and big capacity, big variation in load.

The turbines manufactured by CWTW are ranging from 3 to 65m in water head, 0.2 to 100MW in capacity and 1 to 7m in runner diameter. The technology for Kaplan type unit has improved a lot during recent years, after provided the type ZZ560a-LH-410, 10000KW unit for Wenfengtai hydropower plant in Sichuan province, CWTW has provided many rotating blade Kaplan type unit, such as ZZ500-LH-640, 45000KW unit for Huaneng Dongxiguan hydropower plant in Sichuan province, ZZ560a-LH-500, 25000KW unit for Caoyutan hydropower plant in Sichuan province and  ZZ560a-LH-500, 25000KW unit for Huaneng Yucheng hydropower plant in Sichuan province.

The Tubular type turbines is the best selection for exploitation of tidal power and hydraulic power with extremely low heads and extremely large flow rates. CWTW has the ability to manufacture all types of Tubular turbine mentioned above.

CWTW had manufactured Bulb Tubular type unit, with the largest capacity(15000KW) and the largest runner diameter (5500mm) at that time in China in 1988; Later, CWTW provided two sets of 15 MW Bulb type unit for Yongxing power station in Hunan province and then provided four sets of 12.5 MW Bulb units for Gaosha power-station in Fujian province separately.

Supplied Bulb Tubular type of Turbine-generator Unit in capacity of 6176KW for Maeklong Hydropower Plant. Starting from 1950, CWTW developed and manufactured S-type turbine, and supplied many sets in China and outside of China.
